The modern society is reshaping itself around single individuals rather than around family.
We face extreme feminisation and urbanisation of the business and the society. The world is changing faster than ever before.
China will take over the business but is less likely to innovate. Innovation = creative destruction.
The side effect of Globalization and IT is that everything can be copied. The US and Europe will keep dominating the world.
The USA is not a “country”, it is an idea based on a piece of paper – the Constitution.
The success of the Silicon Valley is that 80% of the people living there were born outside the USA – diversity.
In order to make money you need 1) to have an idea 2) that will ensure a temporary monopoly 3) enforced by innovation.
Failure is key to innovation.
